Vaishnavi, a First Year B.Sc. (Fs.B.C) student, brought laurels to this college by securing the Second Prize in CULINARY LEAGUE 2.0, a culinary competition organised by the Telangana Chefs Association (TCA) in collaboration with KIMS College of Hotel Management, Karimnagar.

The competition was held on 06th October 2026 at KIMS College of Hotel Management, Karimnagar, based on the theme “Ancient Grandma’s Lost Recipe.” The theme encouraged participants to explore and showcase traditional recipes and culinary practices that are gradually disappearing from contemporary food culture.

A team of 11 students from B.Sc. (Fs.B.C) participated enthusiastically in the competition under the guidance of Ms. G. Soumya, Faculty Member, Department of Food Science, Nutrition & Dietetics.

Among the participants, K. Vaishnavi demonstrated exceptional culinary skills, creativity and presentation, earning the Second Prize in the competition.

This accomplishment reflects the students’ talent, creativity and enthusiasm for learning beyond the classroom.
